Ashley Cusato makes her directorial debut with this biopic documentary. As a producer, she was the driving force in raising the film’s financing and securing participation from many of the key figures on screen. Cusato honed the written narrative and used multiple visual elements to bring to life the heart pounding, gut wrenching moments Capers experienced on the frontlines.
A veteran of the industry, Cusato recently completed filming “Escape Plan 2: Hades” with Sylvester Stallone and “The Life and Death of John Gotti” with John Travolta. An accomplished actress and stuntwoman, Cusato has worked with A-List actors and directors including Nick Cassavetes, James Mangold, Kevin Connolly, Jennifer Aniston, Anne Hathaway, & Penelope Cruz.

Recker has an active role in forming the core production team, running day to day operations, shaping the story on film and implementing distribution strategy for its release. He is an award-winning showrunner who has produced thousands of hours of hit programming in television across multiple genres. He is well known as the executive producer for Criss Angel’s groundbreaking series MINDFREAK that was viewed by over 100 million people in more than 90 countries.
Recker has developed and produced formats for multiple broadcasters including A&E, NBC, Discovery, and Roku to name a few. His programs are the recipient of several honors including Emmy, Peabody, and Telly awards.
